About B42’s Business Housing Scheme

How do we get started?

As soon as the employment contract has been signed, you are welcome to contact B42.

Your new employee must complete an application form with details about their employment, current residence, and housing preferences.

You, as representative of your business, must confirm – and solemnly declare – the information concerning the employee’s employment and residence, including whether you have provided temporary accommodation.

The application and confirmation must be submitted to B42, after which your new employee is placed at the front of the queue for the requested housing.

About B42’s Business Housing Scheme

When will the employee be offered housing?

It is difficult to say how long it will take before a home is offered; it depends entirely on which homes have been applied for – and how many.

When one of the homes applied for becomes available, the employee will receive an offer.

If the employee accepts, the tenancy agreement may be signed.

Please note that the employee is only eligible to receive one offer of a home under the Business Housing Scheme.

No – once the tenancy agreement has been signed, the employee is the tenant on the same terms as all other B42 tenants.

No, none of the homes are furnished, and it is not possible to hire furniture through B42.

Pets are allowed in most of our homes - but in some cases there may be rules about which or how many pets you are allowed to have.

If you have questions about pets, please feel free to contact us on tel. +45 74 42 57 95.

Under the Business Housing Scheme, an individual may remain on the waiting list for up to six months after the date of employment.

After that, the person can no longer be regarded as a “newcomer”.

Before entering into any tenancy agreement with the employee, we require employment documentation.

If employment is terminated after the tenancy agreement is signed, it has no impact on the tenancy.

Yes, of course – but doing so removes the applicant from the waiting list, and they cannot reapply through the Business Housing Scheme.

It is therefore a really good idea to carefully select the desired homes. At b42.dk/erhverv, employees can find plenty of helpful guidance on searching for housing.
